In 1989, United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) – one of the largest semiconductor manufacturers in Taiwan – established the Communication Product Division to develop networking products.

In May 1996, with UMC’s communication engineering team and a group of American networking experts, DAVICOM Semiconductor Inc. was officially founded. To date, DAVICOM has developed more than 20 digital and analog IC products, registered numerous patents, and has become one of the leading IC design houses in Taiwan.

DAVICOM is dedicated to developing professional communication and networking IC technologies. Through mixed-signal design and IC integration, we offer customers optimal SoC chipset solutions in areas such as Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Personal Computing (PC), and Internet applications.
